AeJay is a graphic designer from Iowa. He graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor’s in Graphic Design and a minor in User Experience Design as of May 2026. With experimentation and curiosity for design, AeJay emphasizes research, exploration and refinement to each project.
He collaborates with clients in the working design industry, with work spanning across branding, visual identity, posters, editorial, web &
digital design.
His work has been selected for and received multiple awards and recognitions, including GDUSA Student to Watch, Midwestern Graphic Design Biennial, UCDA Design Awards, Art Director’s Association of Iowa, Flux National Student Design Competition, among others.

DESCRIPTION
WayPoint is an urban navigation and discovery app designed to encourage sustainable travel, community interaction, and deeper engagement with local environments. Combining live navigation with community-driven insights, the app helps commuters, tourists, and explorers discover new ways to experience the cities around them.
Developed through a collaborative design process, WayPoint brings together research,
user experience, and visual design around three core ideas: discovery, sustainability, and community. Through shared exploration and iteration, we created a task-oriented,
map-centered interface that provides quick access to navigation, local recommendations, and public transportation.
Rather than simply helping users get from one place to another, WayPoint encourages exploration along the way. The final experience balances practical wayfinding with opportunities to discover local places, connect with the surrounding community, and make more sustainable travel choices.
