AeJay is a graphic designer from Iowa. He graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor’s in Graphic Design and a minor in User Experience Design as of May 2026. With experimentation and curiosity for design, AeJay emphasizes research, exploration and refinement to each project.

digital design.
His work has been selected for and received multiple awards and recognitions, including GDUSA Student to Watch, Midwestern Graphic Design Biennial, UCDA Design Awards, Art Director’s Association of Iowa, Flux National Student Design Competition, among others.

The Smart Study Room Reservation System explores a more efficient way for students to find, reserve, and manage study spaces on campus. Designed around common challenges such as room availability, scheduling, and locating appropriate spaces, the system simplifies the reservation process through a clear and accessible interface. The project considers how thoughtful digital tools can reduce friction in everyday campus experiences while helping students find spaces that better support their individual and collaborative study needs.
