AeJay is a graphic designer from Iowa. He graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor’s in Graphic Design and a minor in User Experience Design as of May 2026. With experimentation and curiosity for design, AeJay emphasizes research, exploration and refinement to each project.
He collaborates within the working design industry, with work spanning across branding, visual identity, posters, editorial, web & digital design.
His work has been selected for and received multiple awards and recognitions, including GDUSA Student to Watch, Midwestern Graphic Design Biennial, UCDA Design Awards, Art Director’s Association of Iowa, Flux National Student Design Competition, among others.

Reloading... is an experimental zine that pays homage to the retrofuturist aesthetics of the 20th century, drawing from early technology, binary code, science fiction, and analog collage. Combining nostalgic visions of the future with contemporary digital techniques, the project creates a world that feels simultaneously familiar, futuristic, and slightly unsettling.
Short Story Synopsis:The accompanying story follows two astronauts exploring space after an apparent alien invasion has left Earth uninhabitable. After discovering a mysterious spacecraft beyond the Moon, they uncover a disturbing truth: the invasion never happened. They are the last two humans on Earth, unknowingly connected to an AI-driven machine that continuously places them inside randomly generated realities. Each time a story ends, their memories are erased and another begins, leaving them trapped in an endless cycle of artificial experiences with no knowledge of what came before, or how to escape.
