DESCRIPTION
For this project, we were tasked with designing a magazine centered on a subject of personal interest. I chose to focus on the K-pop group aespa, drawing inspiration from the concept visuals of their latest release, their 5th mini album 'Whiplash'. My design approach incorporated custom typography inspired by the group's distinctive use of stylistic lettering from their latest comeback, seamlessly blending the visual aesthetics of their concept photos with my own creative interpretation.
The goal of this project was to craft a magazine that strikes a balance between engaging visual appeal and polished presentation.

MY CREATIVE INTERPRETATION
Replicating the typographic elements from the artists themselves allows me to understand how to create stylistic typography that is uniquely legible. This insight into typographic studies allows for a better understanding of continuing the style and aesthetic of the artists.

Below shows the artist typography creation and my interpretation of their work.
